Barbados, Montserrat, St. Lucia : 2007 cruise trip to the Carribean islands. Some of the more interesting shots. The Montserrat pictures don't describe the scene well enough but even with the naked eye you could see how Plymouth was devastated by this volcanic eruption. If you look close enough you can see roads and houses that are just covered in ash. The cruise ship could not get very close to Montserrat because of all the clouds of ash, but I was able to capture some detail with a 70-300mm lens. Thanks for looking.

La Jolla, California : 2007 trip to San Diego, California. Drove to La Jolla to check out this popular stop. The day was overcast but the sea lions still made their appearances. Pretty fascinating, but it was smelly. :)
